Photo Booth for the Automotive Industry — Virtual Vehicle Staging
Car manufacturers stage new models at trade shows and roadshows — without sacrificing valuable floor space to the physical vehicle. UpReach places trade-show visitors photorealistically next to the featured car on a virtual race track using 2D-to-3D AI. AI processing is GDPR-compliant — biometric data is deleted after rendering. That meets the requirements of OEM legal teams: GDPR-compliant AI processing, deletion after rendering, GDPR DPA.

More than 200 B2B brands from across Europe trust UpReach — from agencies to enterprise corporations.
The technological value for OEM marketing
Virtual 2D-to-3D vehicle integration
Instead of transporting vehicle fleets to every location, the AI simulates spatial depth. Visitors pose at the terminal and are rendered directly next to or inside the featured vehicle — photorealistic, with no green screen, in under 10 seconds.
Verified OEM compliance
AI processing is GDPR-compliant. Biometric data is deleted after rendering. Automated deletion routines, a full DPA and technical documentation for the OEM legal team's compliance review — audit-ready.
A unified brand interface
Touchscreen, AI overlays and lead form follow OEM design guidelines strictly. The brand identity is synchronised to every dealer location via cloud. No uncontrolled filters, no loss of quality, no third-party branding in the customer's field of view.
Field-proven setups in the automotive sector
The 2D-to-3D depth effects are optimised specifically for vehicle compositing: realistic light matching, shadow calculation and perspective depth make the visitor a photorealistic part of the vehicle image. The result looks like a press photo — and is shared as one on social media.
The product line, manufactured to our own specification (CE, ISO 9001), can be fully wrapped in the OEM corporate design — no third-party branding visible. At the IAA or in a premium dealership, the terminal reads as an integral part of the trade-show presence.
Why UpReach for the automotive industry
The UpReach software is configured individually for each OEM client: vehicle brand identity, test-drive qualification fields, CRM API mapping. The lead form can include sector-specific fields — model interest, purchase timeframe, dealer region — for an immediately usable record.

For trade-show launches (IAA, motor shows) and high-frequency operation, the Pro V1 (from €6,990 net) is the automotive standard: AI GPU, all AI features, ISO 9001. For premium showrooms and flagship dealers, the StudioCabin V2 (from €16,990 net) suits a permanent installation with the highest visual presence. For roadshows across several dealer locations, the Compact (from €4,990 net) is the mobile option. All prices excl. VAT, software included. All models CE-certified.

Compliance architecture for automotive OEMs
GDPR-compliant AI processing and deletion after rendering
OEM compliance teams scrutinise how biometric data is processed. UpReach addresses this structurally: AI processing of biometric data is GDPR-compliant, with consent captured at the terminal. The AI models run via cloud providers, GDPR-secured. Biometric raw data is deleted after rendering: image data is deleted automatically after a defined retention period. The complete data flow is documented and available for compliance audits. The system is classified as a low-risk application under the EU AI Act. An on-device edge/offline mode is available on request for maximally sensitive deployments.
Test-drive leads: qualification in the download flow
A generic email list is worthless for automotive sales. UpReach builds test-drive qualification directly into the data gate: "Interested in a test drive: yes/no", model preference, purchase timeframe. Only visitors who explicitly signal test-drive interest are flagged as hot leads and routed straight to the responsible dealer. The OEM's marketing-automation tool receives a pre-sorted record — no manual re-qualification required.
Brand consistency across every dealer location
For OEMs with dealer networks of 50 to 1,000 sites, brand consistency is the biggest operational challenge. The UpReach cloud dashboard enables central configuration: a brand-identity update at headquarters deploys to every active terminal at once. Model launches are pushed to all dealer systems via cloud — no technician on site, no delays between locations.

Frequently asked questions from the automotive industry
The 2D-to-3D technology analyses the visitor in the space and places them within milliseconds next to a configured automotive backdrop — race track, urban setting or cockpit. No physical green screen is required. Depth effects, light matching and perspective calculation make the compositing photorealistic. The vehicle does not need to be physically present on the stand.
Photorealistic vehicle compositing gets shared on LinkedIn and Instagram — a poor green-screen image does not. The quality of the AI output correlates directly with the share rate. Built-in UTM parameters track every piece of organic reach and calculate the earned media value for the OEM's marketing report.
For trade-show launches (IAA, motor shows) the Pro V1 (from €6,990 net) is the standard. For permanent showroom installations the StudioCabin V2 (from €16,990 net), or a leasing model for balance-sheet-friendly OpEx, is the choice. Dealer networks calculate framework agreements for fleets. All prices excl. VAT.
The ISO 9001 and CE-certified enclosures are built for tough event conditions. For purely outdoor use we recommend a covered stand to minimise light reflections on the touchscreen. The system needs a 230V connection. If there is no network, the terminal buffers all leads offline and syncs them once the connection returns.
UpReach provides full technical documentation up front: a data-flow diagram, DPA (data processing agreement), server-location evidence, biometric architecture and deletion workflow. This documentation is the basis for compliance sign-off by the group's data protection officer. The system is built on privacy-by-design principles.
Yes. Because biometric data is processed GDPR-compliantly and deleted after the image is produced, the architecture is classified as a low-risk application under the EU AI Act. There is no persistent biometric storage or remote identification. The compliance documentation is available for corporate IT audits. An on-device edge/offline mode is available on request for maximally sensitive deployments.
