Yes. Every UpReach system runs GDPR-compliant and SSL-encrypted. Data capture runs through a configurable opt-in form directly at the terminal: before a user receives their photo, they consent to the use of their data via a checkbox (separate opt-ins, no breach of the prohibition on bundling). You decide which fields are captured (name, email, company, custom fields) and how long they are stored. The AI processing is GDPR-compliant: consent is taken at the terminal, biometric raw data is deleted after rendering, a DPA is provided and the set-up is low-risk under the EU AI Act. An on-device edge/offline mode, in which processing runs locally at the terminal, is available on request. We also provide technical documentation of the data flows on request.

Five print formats are available: instant-print strips (the classic 2-to-4-image format, the most popular at events), A4 posters (single images or collages), A1 large-format prints (wall posters right at the event), product labels (a guest's photo on bottles, cans or packaging, especially popular with FMCG brands) and postcards (optionally with a pre-paid postage print). Every format is configured in your brand design: logo, colours, layout and campaign claim. The format is set per event and can be combined where needed.

Printing starts immediately after the shot is taken. An instant-print strip is ready in under 15 seconds, an A4 poster in under 30 seconds. The print process runs in parallel with the next shot, so there is no backlog at high-traffic events. Consumables (paper, ink, label rolls) are pre-calculated and supplied by UpReach. For longer campaigns, consumables can be reordered.

The cost depends on the system, the print format and the length of use. Guidance: an UpReach system with an integrated A4 printer starts from a low four-figure amount (purchase, net). Hire prices sit in the three-figure range per event day, depending on the system and the print format. Consumables (paper, ink) are billed separately. Yes. UpReach configures print templates in your company's brand design, including logo, colours and layout.

The external dye-sublimation or high-speed printer connects to the photo booth via plug-and-play. The UpReach software controls the printing automatically: after the shot, the image is combined with the pre-configured print layout (in your brand design) and output immediately through the printer. Consumables (paper, ink) are pre-calculated by UpReach and supplied in the flight case. For systems with instant printing, UpReach recommends a footprint of around 1.5 by 1.5 metres for the photo-booth system plus the print station.
