The initial situation
The audience at developer conferences sees through latency, cloud ping times and privacy gaps in an instant. A setup whose data processing and consent are not cleanly documented disqualifies itself in front of this audience immediately — technically and in terms of perception.

The download flow was designed as a qualified data gate: email address, GDPR opt-in, an optional checkbox "Interested in a software demo: yes/no". The generated image was sent to the smartphone via QR code, with UTM tracking for LinkedIn attribution.
